Health Information Resources (Reference)
The primary goal of Becker Library’s Health Information Resources Division is to help the School of Medicine cultivate information literate medical students, faculty, and staff. This is achieved through the collaborative development of courses, instructional programs, and resources which emphasize life-long learning and information management skills. These skills are needed to access and evaluate health information resources for problem solving and decision making.
Information literacy is a critical skill in all areas of education and research. The library’s information services and training program provides services and classes designed to help the Washington University community improve their information-gathering skills.
